Lifestyle Sports Global was born out of a deep love for running and a desire to bring world-class racing experiences to the beautiful state of Maine. Founded by David McIntyre, a lifelong runner and semi-professional triathlete, and his wife, Laura McIntyre, an event operations expert with an impressive background, our company is built on a foundation of passion, professionalism, and community. David’s vision was to create races that showcase Maine’s stunning landscapes and welcoming communities. Starting in the Greater Lincoln area, we’ve since expanded to the Greater Bangor region and beyond, offering races that combine challenging yet accessible courses with the charm of Maine’s cities and towns. Laura brings a wealth of experience to the table, having worked on high-profile events such as the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, Super Bowl XXXVI, multiple Special Olympics World Games, and disaster relief efforts during Hurricane Katrina. Together, David and Laura combine their expertise to deliver exceptional race experiences that inspire participants and leave a lasting impact.
